A maturing maple forest shade this small, remote recreation area on the west shore of Stevens Lake (290 acres). Most of the shoreline is undeveloped forest with a few cabins and homes on the north and east shores. The campground makes an excellent basecamp for anglers and fall hunters. Northern Pike, Panfish and Largemouth Bass are frequently caught in the lake’s shallow waters. Fall colors are often incredibly scenic.
There are 6 non-electric sites available for tent and RV/trailer camping (max length varies, see list below). All sites are fully shaded, and each has a tent area, picnic table, fire ring, and a parking spur. Campground amenities include drinking water and accessible vault toilets. All 6 campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lakeside Campsites with Lake Access
Five waterfront sites are within steps of the lake with at least partial views of the water through a thin layer of foliage. The one site that isn’t lakeside (#1) has a long, level spur and is surrounded by scenic forest:
2, 3, 4, 5, & 6
The public boat landing is next to the campground with a paved ramp, boat pier, turn-around and a gravel trailer-parking area.
