The East Fork Chippewa River flows past this small campground shaded by tall pines and birch in a remote area of the National Forest. A spur to the Dead Horse Run ATV Trail is across from the campground entrance. This is an excellent campground for paddlers, anglers and for those running the ATV trails.

The middle reaches of the East Fork Chippewa provide relaxing, quietwater paddling through miles of wilderness. The section of river that passes the campground is mostly flatwater with a few riffles and class I rapids.

Dead Horse Run is a scenic, backcountry trail network that runs for 63 miles through the National Forest and connects with the Tuscobia State Trail and the Flambeau River State Forest Trails.

The campground has 8 campsites in a single loop. Site #8 is a group site with a maximum capacity of 20 people. All 8 sites (including the group site) are available for tent and RV/trailer camping. Each standard campsite is shaded by tall red pines while the group site occupies an open lawn surrounded by pines. Every campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, tent area, and a parking spur. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump), and vault toilets. 3 of the standard sites and the group site are reservable, and the other 4 are available as first-come, first-served. There is no garbage or recycling at Stockfarm Bridge, so please take out everything you bring in!

A small picnic area shaded by tall pines and a public boat landing are next to the campground entrance. The landing has a gravel ramp, trailer-turnaround, and a parking area.
