This small campground sits in a gorgeous setting next to an idyllic 112-acre lake surrounded by wilderness and areas of spruce bog. East Twin Lake is fed by two springs and offers a scenic paddling and fishing experience. The public boat landing is a half-mile northeast of the campground and offers a gravel ramp, turnaround, trailer parking area and a launch pier.
The campground has 10 non-electric campsites in two loops. Some sites don't offer much seclusion from neighboring campers, but the setting is very scenic. All sites offer at least some shade. 9 are available for tent and RV/trailer camping; 8 are back-in and one is pull-through (site #3). One campsite is walk-in tent only (site #10). All sites have a fire ring, picnic table, tent area, and parking spur. Campground amenities include drinking water (electric well), accessible vault toilets and a fishing pier near site #9. 6 sites are reservable.
Lakeside Campsites with Lake Access
The tent pad and parking spur on most of the lakefront sites are just steps away from the lake.
3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10
Sites 6 and 10 offer the most seclusion.
East Twin Lake is a Loon nesting site.
