This quiet campground wraps around the south shore of beautiful Starrett Lake (67 acres). Gorgeous northwoods scenery along with an electric-motor and no-wake restriction make this an excellent lake for canoeing and kayaking, and several sites have canoe landings. The campground is spread out over hilly terrain beneath a canopy of tall pines, birch and hardwoods, every campsite is moderate to fully shaded. Most offer pleasant levels of seclusion from neighboring campers.

There are 42 non-electric campsites. 36 sites are available for tent and RV/trailer camping (back-in only, length varies) and 6 are walk-in tent only. Each site has a parking spur, tent area, fire ring, and picnic table. Site #1302 is the Campground Manager. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump), vault toilets, and a firewood bin ($ fee). All sites are reservable. The facilities have been recently updated and are well-maintained.

Lakeside Campsites with Lake Access
The following waterfront campsites have at least partial lake views and shoreline access: 1301, 1304, 1305, 1306, 1309, 1310, 1311, 1326, 1327, 1328, 1338, 1340, 1342, & 1344.

Three walk-in tent sites are tucked away in the northwest corner of the campground. Each has plenty of seclusion and its own canoe landing. Site 1309 is the most scenic with a tent area beneath red pines and a fire ring only a few feet from the lake with amazing views. If 1309 is not available, try 1310 which sits next to a small bay with a fire ring close to the lake shore. 1311 is also next to the lake and is the most secluded site in the campground.

Walk-in tent sites 1326, 1327, and 1328 are next to the boat landing with open views of the lake, but not a lot of privacy.

The developed boat landing is in the middle of the campground and offers a ramp, launch pier, and paved turnaround.

Starrett Lake is a designated quiet campground. Generator usage and loud electronic devices are not allowed.
