This fun, family-destination campground sits next to beautiful Namekagon Lake. The lake sprawls over 3,000 acres with numerous bays, islands and navigable channels to other lakes; ideal for exploring by pontoon, boat, kayak or canoe. Namekagon Lake is noted for its excellent crappie fishing, and for Walleye, Musky, Largemouth and Smallmouth.

The recreation area and campground are in a mature second-growth forest of hardwoods and hemlocks. An expansive shady, lakeside picnic area offers tables, grills, a shelter, basketball court, a sandy swimming beach and a fishing pier. A boat landing for campground guests is next to the picnic area.

There are several lakeside grills and restaurants with boat docks on Namekagon Lake that are within paddling or boating distance of the campground.

The campground has 34 non-electric sites. Each has a tent area, picnic table, fire ring, and a parking spur. All 34 sites are available for tent and RV/trailer camping (back-in only, length varies), and all are partially to fully shaded. 20 sites are reservable. Campground amenities include drinking water (electric well) and accessible vault toilets.

Lakeside Campsites with Lake Access
None of the campsites are directly waterfront. Sites 13, 14, 17 & 19 are closest to the lake with footpaths to the shoreline.

Namekagon Lake is a Loon nesting site.
