West Point is a small, scenic lakeside campground in a narrow part of the flowage where the opposite shore is only 50 yards across the water. Tall hemlocks line the shoreline and provide plenty of shade for the waterfront campsites; hardwoods shade the rest of the campground.

There are 15 non-electric sites available for tent and RV/trailer camping (back-in only, see list below). Every site has plenty of shade and offers a tent area, parking spur, picnic table and fire ring. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump) and vault toilets. Site #13 is the campground host. All sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lakeside Campsites with Lake Access
Sites 4, 5, 8, 9, and 12 are set back from the water with limited views. Sites 7 and 11 are within steps of the flowage but also have limited views due to a dense understory on the shoreline. Sites 6 and 10 offer the best lake views and are only steps away from the water.
