Eastwood Campground sits on a low ridge in a maturing maple forest at the northeast end of the Mondeaux Flowage. This is the closest of the four National Forest campgrounds on the Flowage to the Mondeaux Recreation Area and the historic lodge. A trail to the developed recreation area begins near the north end of the campground loop.
There are 12 non-electric campsites that can accommodate tents and RV/trailer campers (back-in only, see list below). Site #6 is the campground host. Each site has a parking spur, tent area, picnic table, and fire ring. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump) and vault toilets. 5 sites are reservable and 6 are available as first-come, first-served.
Although none of the campsites are lakefront, they are spaced well apart from each other to offer comfortable levels of seclusion. Every site is shaded, and all have long parking spurs.
The public boat landing is 1 mile from the campground entrance; north on Mondeaux Drive > west on Park Road. The landing has a boat ramp, launch pier, turnaround, and trailer parking area.

A self-registration kiosk is located near the campground entrance. You must register and pay before occupying a site. Reservable sites may be reserved online up to six months in advance (please visit the reservations website for more details).
