TRAIL NOTES

Hartman Creek State Park offers 11 kilometers of cross-country ski trails in an enjoyable multiple-loop trail system. The trails trek through a scenic landscape of pine plantations, hardwood forest, open fields, and past several small lakes. The terrain is long flat stretches interspersed with short rolling hills typical of a moraine landscape. The majority of trails are suitable for novices and intermediates.

11 kilometers are groomed and tracked for classic with 3.5 kilometers also groomed for skate. The park also features a 3.5 kilometer winter hiking and snowshoeing trail.

DIRECTIONS

On Hughway 54, 5.7 miles west of downtown Waupaca, turn south onto Hartman Creek Rd. Drive south on Hartman Creek Rd for 1.7 miles to the State Park entrance.
